I have been planning my mom’s big gift of 2020-2021 for a few months. She wants a 30″ x 132″ runner rug for the house she and my step-dad are building. I discovered that Ashford has a rigid heddle freedom roller that allows longer lengths of fabric to be woven on their rigid heddle looms.
I couldn’t find any videos at all on the freedom roller. Mister helped me put it together (I’ll be honest, he did all the work) and I made a video showing how to put it together in case anyone else out there needs help. At the end of the video I also demonstrate advancing the warp.
