My First Embroidery Designs
I love stitching patterns of talented artists and I’ve tried to make my own. Here is the first original embroidery pattern I created for a friend. Every year she has a theme word and 2020 was “Mindful”
I used a hand lettering book for the text. I had just learned how to do the woven wheel stitch so I filled the piece with flowers.
I also created the “Everything is Stupid” embroidery for a co-worker. I used a Stefan Kunz composition grid for the layout and a flower pattern by Sarah Beth Timmons.
