Finished Projects at the Icelandic Textile Center

Here are the things I finished (or almost finished) during my stay at the Icelandic Textile Center:

Varafeldur made with sheep fleece.
Varafeldur made with processed merino wool roving in a northern lights design.
I had enough roving for a mini varafeldur.
With the last of the warp, I experimented with twill on the countermarche loom.
Wool mini skeins I dyed with natural dyes.
Patches for my thrift store military jacket.
Felted fleece.
Merino wool roving felted onto my handwoven & hand dyed cotton cloth.
Other residents holding my felted pieces (the wind was strong that day).
Woven on the only rigid heddle loom at the Textile Center. I will use some of it for embroidery.
The raven I stitched on the Vatnsdaela Tapestry, located on at the Textile Center.
My somewhat successful? attempt at felting. It’s supposed to be an alpaca but it looks like an alpaca, giraffe, camel, and sheep had a baby. It took me nearly an entire day to do this.
